I'm a (lay) choral-vicar in a 'not-too-bad' cathedral choir. That means I sing for a living. And when I'm not singing, I'm trying to teach others how to sing. It pays the rent. Ho hum.
My blog is worth $11,290.80.
How much is your blog worth?

Now why cant they do it like that everyday!!
I miss those little magnetic weather symbols they used to slap on the maps.
What? D'you mean that they don't use them anymore? (I'm afraid my telly-watching days ended abruptly in 1977 when Her Majesty failed to mention her visit to the cathedral during her address to the nation on Christmas Day. It might, of course, have had something to do with my foot coming into contact with the tube, but I haven't missed it.) You'll be claiming next that the announcers are no longer attired in evening dress!
Utterly bizarre! What's the chant? (Uninitiated Catholic/Presbyterian organist here.)
Well done - it is a long time since I heard this!
I enjoyed that! And thanks for visiting - although I'm afraid my Latin doesn't go past O Level!
Brilliant, quite brilliant!
Hello!
I was pointed here by the MadPriest.
I listened to your Arm, Arm ye Brave. I must say that if that is you, good on you. I have only heard this sung by David Thomas before, and he tends to be blustery. He came to America several times to sing with The Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra during the years they were recording several Handel Oratorios. I sang in the choir.
Anyway, I am enjoying your blog.
Oh, and lest I forget, I love this vid! I shall share it with our choir here in Berkeley, CA.
You are too kind, Susan
